Dr. Adrian Suratos has 30 years of full-time clinical experience, primarily in Skilled Nursing Facilities in South Florida. He has served as a Clinical Instructor (CI) for most of those years, starting as a Credentialed CI with the Florida Consortium of Clinical Educators (FCCE) in 1995 and later as an APTA-Credentialed CI in 2011. He has participated in APTA Workgroups on clinical education and has presented the topic to the FCCE. He is a clinician reviewer for the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE) and is a Reaffirmation Panel Commissioner. While furloughed as a Staff PT during the pandemic, he acquired Board-Certification in Geriatric Physical Therapy and completed an MS in Anatomical Sciences Education at the University of Florida in 2023. He is now an Assistant Professor at the School of Physical Therapy at Touro University Nevada and is currently pursuing an EdD in Curriculum and Instruction at Liberty University. He continues to practice regularly in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) and an Inpatient Rehab Facility (IRF) in Las Vegas, NV.
